The Yenko name conjures up images of classic muscle cars known for being absolute brutes on the street and drag strip. Classic Industries is now a part of the Yenko heritage with its sister company GMCI, which handles the licensing for all of the Yenko trademarks. To show off what the Yenko brand is all about, Classic Industries had a new sixth-generation Yenko Camaro in its booth that makes over 1,000 tire-shredding horsepower.

Classic Industries sells a variety of Yenko-branded products that enthusiasts can use either as part of a restoration or building a clone of their favorite Yenko machine. Dave Hamburger explains how you can get a new Yenko Camaro.

“The licensing of the Yenko trademarks, including the SYC logo along with the 27 other associated trademarks, are owned by GMCI, which is a sister company of Classic Industries OER. We oversee the production under license, and we’ve done it for the last six years. It’s a wonderful program because it’s only available through Chevrolet dealers. You go to the dealer, purchase a Camaro with the package, GM drop-ships the car to Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) to be built, and then we send it back to the dealer for final delivery.”

The 2020 Stage II Yenko comes with a 416-cubic-inch LT1 packed with goodies, topped off with a blower. Besides getting a car that makes 1,000 horsepower with a warranty, there are also plenty of interior and exterior upgrades that come with this new-age muscle car. The car comes with a carbon-fiber hood, custom stripes, special badges, and interior upgrades as well.
