SEMA 2023: The Ringbrothers Redefine Luxury With “PARAMOUNT”

Rolls-Royce is known for producing some of the most luxurious automobiles in the world. Each vehicle is hand-built by craftsmen with the goal of creating an unforgettable motoring experience. The Ringbrothers took a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II and created the ultimate luxury car known as “PARAMOUNT.”

The Silver Cloud was Rolls-Royce’s flagship vehicle from 1955-66. These cars were the epitome of high class and were owned by the world’s most important people. The average car guy would never dream of turning these cars upside down, but the Ringbrothers aren’t your average enthusiasts.

On the surface, PARAMOUNT doesn’t look like your standard Ringbrothers build. The Rolls-Royce’s body hasn’t been heavily modified. What you see is a car that was stripped down, worked over, and sprayed with BASF Glasurit’s “White as Fluff.” The Ringbrothers only added some custom-machined badges to the exterior of the car, everything else was essentially left untouched.

Everything under the body of PARAMOUNT was changed to fit the Ringbrothers vision of an elite luxury vehicle. The OEM chassis was cast aside in favor of a custom Roadster Shop RideLine Stage 3 unit. A RideLine front suspension and Fast Link parallel four-bar rear suspension was bolted up to the chassis. The Ringbrothers fabricated their own two-piece clamshell control arms and custom 10-gauge steel boxed framerails to go with the chassis. The Fox RS SV 6-inch coilover shocks make PARAMOUNT ride like a dream.

PARAMOUNT is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 engine that generates 640 horsepower and 635 ft-lbs of torque. The power is smoothly applied to the ground thanks to the Bowler Tru-Street 10-speed automatic transmission.

“Unlike many of our builds, we chose to retain the original bodywork and lines of the Rolls, so at first glance, there are only hints to what lies beneath,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring. “That all changes when the door opens to show the completely custom interior or a press of the go pedal emits a telltale supercharger whine. This truly is the ultimate luxury sleeper.”

You need the perfect set of wheels for a build of this caliber. The Ringbrothers opted to use custom rolling stock from EVOD Industries. These wheels mimic the original Rolls-Royce wheels and have gyro wheel center caps. Falken Azenis tires are wrapped around the 18-inch wheels. Inside the wheels, you’ll find a set of Baer’s Pro+ 15-inch rotors and six-piston calipers that bring PARAMOUNT to a stop.

The interior of PARAMOUNT is just as perfect as the exterior thanks to Sean Smith Designs. Gabe’s Custom Interiors tackled the installation of the interior and really knocked it out of the park. The dashboard is home to plenty of billet bling, and a set of Dakota Digital gauges that match the vibe of the Rolls-Royce perfectly. The factory floor pans were removed and replaced to improve comfort for the occupants, while also enhancing the size of the interior as well. The interior divider was also removed to provide more space, and the headliner features 1,000 LED lights.

“Every part of this build is brimming with detail and character,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “The exterior keeps to the allure of traditional British luxury while the engine, chassis, and interior all embrace a modern luxury sedan. This project combines Rolls-Royce’s past and present with a 640 horsepower American accent. We invested over 3,400 hours in fabricating, painting, and engineering this project and are grateful to our partners for working with us to further our craft and allowing us to explore an entirely new realm of art form.”

PARAMOUNT is a decadent and elegant vehicle that packs punch. The balance between opulence and horsepower is perfect.
