Chevrolet Officially Announces 2023 C8 Z06 Pricing

Corvette has always been the sports car for the everyman. You can go back and listen to the video when the C8 was revealed and hear the communal gasp when Mark Reuss announced the base model would have an MSRP of less than $ 60,000. Even so, the cost of the higher-performing variants has crept up with each new “best-vette-yet.”

Comparatively speaking, the performance of the Corvette has crossed the supercar threshold while the price point has stayed lower than its competition. Many have been waiting to see what sticker Chevrolet would put on the high-winding Corvette Z06, and the General confirmed what many anticipated, a six-figure buy-in.

The  2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is available in both a removable hardtop and a powered convertible hardtop.

2023 Corvette Z06 1LZ

If you are looking for the entry-level Z-car in 1LZ trim, a coupe will run you $105,00 to start. If you want the hard-top convertible, it’ll cost you $112,500. The 1LZ trim gives you the Bose premium, 10-speaker audio system, 8-way Power GT1 seats, and power tilt and telescopic steering column. There is also a rear camera mirror and rear camera to help when backing and a color head-up display when you’re looking forward.

2023 Corvette Z06 2LZ

The next-level Z06 starts out at $114,200 for the pop-top and $121,200 for the drop-top. The 2LZ ups the comfort with heated and ventilated seats with lumbar and wing adjustment. Included memory settings for both driver and passenger to make sure your seat is ready for you. There is a nav system as well as that oh-so-cool Performance Data Recorder. There is also a rear cross-traffic alert system as well as a blind-spot alert that will act as another set of eyes for you.

2023 Corvette Z06 3LZ

Checking the 3LZ box brings performance with style to the interior of the Z06. It will also raise the starting price to $118,850 for the coupe and 125,850 for the convertible. For the additional coin, the steering wheel will be upgraded with carbon fiber trim and shift paddles. A custom leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors bring the car’s interior to another level, and suede microfiber upper interior trim helps give the panels more definition. A set of GT2 seats featuring Napa leather and carbon fiber trim will help you stay put during those high-G maneuvers. You’ll also have eight interior color options to customize your nighttime rides.

Z07 Performance Package

If you’re looking for the mac-daddy performance option for the Z06, you’ll need to ante up with an additional $8,995 for the Z07 Performance Package. This brings an FE7 suspension, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin Pilot Cub 2R ZP tires, and underbody strakes to the car’s build sheet. Checking the Z07 Performance Package also means you’ll be required to get the additional Carbon Aero Package with either Visible or Carbon Flash Painted components. The carbon flash bits will run you an additional $8,495, and if you want to see those fibers in action, the visible variant is listed at $10,495.

Carbon Fiber Wheel Options

With so much carbon fiber keeping the weight of your new Z06 low, you’d be sorely tempted to continue putting your Z-car on a diet with those carbon fiber wheels from Carbon Revolution. A set of carbon flash metallic wheels will increase the cost of your Z06 by $9,995, and if you want to show those fibers, you’ll have to pay for the privilege with another $11,995. The lightweight wheels will definitely make your Corvette Z06 perform better due to losing an additional 41 pounds of unsprung weight. How much they’ll lighten your wallet is between you and your accountant.

We spent some time creating our Z06 on Chevy’s configurator. It’s a great way to spend some time and see what’s available for the world’s newest supercar.

Many folks will surely be spending some time on Chevrolet’s Z06 Corvette configurator to see what their ultimate Corvette will look like. Now, with these just-released prices, they can also get a pretty good idea of what their next supercar will cost – If they can find a dealer who will sell them one without excessive markups!
