Like the power and luxury of the CTS-V sedan, but need more room in the back for your weekly Sam’s Club run? Well, you’re in luck because Cadillac recently announced that the 2011 CTS-V Wagon will be available later this year. As with other CTS-V siblings, the wagon packs a supercharged 6.2L V-8 delivering 556 horsepower and 551 lb.-ft of torque. This motive force is sufficient to propel the car from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.0 seconds (and an unsecured #10 can of nacho cheese sauce straight through the tailgate glass, so make sure your groceries are properly secured…)
“The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is a limited production offering for connoisseurs who are interested in the unique combination of V-Series performance with wagon style and capability,” explained Don Butler, vice president, Cadillac marketing.
A six-speed manual transmission is standard and a six-speed automatic is also available. As with other V-models, the level of standard equipment is impressive, including heated, leather-accented seating, an in-dash nav system with 40gb hard drive, HID headlamps with adaptive forward lighting, Bose premium audio system and the four year/50,000-mile Premium Care maintenance program.
Additional performance features delivered as standard include Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch forged-aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Heated and ventilated Recaro seats are available for both driver and passenger as an option, as well as polished 19-inch wheels and interior finish upgrades.
The limited edition CTS-V wagon is now available for ordering with prices starting from $62,990, including destination.
