Dates Announced for the 2011 "Goat Run" Rally in Vegas

The guys over at LS1GTO.com have recently announced the dates and info for their annual GTO Rally and party on the Las Vegas Strip; the “Goat Run.” The event has been going on since 2007, making this the 5th consecutive year. Previous Goat Runs have had as many as 75-plus GTO’s and other performance Pontiacs attend from every corner of the United States.

The dates for Goat Run 2011 have been set for Friday, September 30th through Monday October 3rd. The event will kick off with a meet and greet at the Palace Station parking garage, in Las Vegas, and will be followed by a party on the legendary Vegas Strip. The following afternoon, there will be a group cruise to Moapa Paiutes, about 30 miles North of Las Vegas on I-15, where there will be a picnic and car show. The night will be capped off by a fireworks display, reported to be “epic,” in celebration of all things “Goat.”

Of course no event like this would be complete without some racing action mixed in, so the crew plans to do a little go-cart racing on Sunday, October 2nd (details forthcoming). There will also be a poker game at the Venetian Poker Room on Sunday, starting at 4:00 PM sharp, just as in previous years.
The event will be capped off with a farewell brunch at the Bellagio at 10:00 AM, on Monday, October 3rd, where parking will be reserved for all Goat enthusiasts that wish to attend.
