Goodguys Offers All-American Sundays To Enthusiasts

Have you ever wanted to attend one of the Goodguys events but thought, “I don’t have a classic, so I can’t enter.” Well, think again. What would you say if we told you that you can bring your late-model pride and joy to a Goodguys event? For the last 30-plus years, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association has filled venues around the country with amazing hot rods and classics. But in case you haven’t heard, the Goodguys association isn’t just about vintage anymore.

A few years back, the Goodguys organization realized that there are many enthusiasts that wanted to partake in all of the excitement that their events afforded classic car owners, but lacked a certain “older” vehicle. Because of that, Goodguys has teamed up with K&N Filters, and introduced what they call the All-American Sunday portion to their events.

It’s no secret that for many years, Goodguys’ events focused on pre-1973 vehicles. And while those classic rides are still predominantly part of the event on Friday and Saturday, when Sunday rolls around, anything American is invited. Not only does this allow those enthusiasts who have newer American vehicles to participate in the fun, it also opens the doors to younger generations of gearheads. If you have a car or truck that was built after 1973, and is American made, it’s welcome to be a part of the gathering on Sunday.

* The Goodguys 31st West Coast Nationals taking place August 25-27, 2017 in Pleasanton, is the only 2017 National event which will remain ’72 & earlier vehicles only for the entire weekend.
