The ultimate LS-dedicated event is fast approaching and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is proud to announce their partnered sponsorship of one of the drag racing classes, the True Street class. With Holley Performance and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering working together, the Holley LS Fest is sure to be better than ever this year.
As part of the event line-up at the Holley LS Fest, the True Street class will be part of the six available drag race classes in the Scoggin Dickey Parts Drag Racing competition. The True Street class is for fast street cars and provides a heads-up platform. For the drag races, participants will be part of a 30-mile cruise loop before they make it back to the track. Once there, racers will run three passes, of which an average will be taken to determine the winner in each class.
Lingenfelter’s sponsorship of the True Street drag racing class comes after many years of forming a strong relationship with Holley Performance Products. This relationship between the two performance automotive companies has also resulted in many collaborative products for drag racers and performance enthusiasts alike.
Lingenfelter will also be competing in the drag races at the Holley LS Fest with two race cars this year. Last year the company won their class with their Supercharged 2010 LS9 Camaro. The company also plans on bringing their new Camaro out to compete in the Real Street class in the 2012 event.
If you want to participate in this year’s LS Fest, it will take place at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky from September 9th through the 11th. We hope that all the LS performance enthusiasts have a great time showing off their rides and participating in all the events that the Fest has to offer.
