Our favorite event is coming closer to our hometown (1,797 miles closer to be exact) and we could not be more excited. As an extension of the popular LS Fest event, Holley recently announced they will be kicking off the highly-anticipated LS Fest West May 5-7, 2017 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Don’t worry– this doesn’t mean the original LS Fest is over-with. Bowling Green will still be home to some of the greatest and meanest LS-powered cars in the Fall, but now Vegas will be taking over in the Spring.

LS Fest is a celebration of all things LS or LT, drawing thousands of fans each and every year, and a whopping 10,000 attendees to their 2016 event. Everything that has made the original LS Fest as successful as it is, will be incorporated into LS Fest West– including Autocross, a Road Course Challenge, drag racing, a Dyno Challenge, Drift Challenge, Show-n-Shine, 3S Challenge, and more. But, for the first time ever, Holley will be introducing an off-road competition, ideal for Vegas’ desert.

“We’ve heard from numerous LS enthusiasts out west how they would love to attend the event if only it were closer,” said Bill Tichenor, Holley’s Director of Marketing. “LS Fest West is our answer to these requests and will allow fans of the LS engine to experience the same kind of sensory overload that everyone has enjoyed for the past seven years in our hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky.”

As a company, we have attended multiple LS Fest events and they are always a blast! But that’s no surprise– what isn’t to love when your surrounded by thousands of your favorite cars?
