The geographical location of the National Corvette Museum to the Corvette Assembly plant assures visitors that new Corvette sightings are a distinct possibility. Coupled with the increased reports of mid-engine Corvettes being spotted around the country, and General Motors recently coming clean and officially admitting there IS a next-generation Corvette, it makes perfect sense GM would choose to steal the stage during the Michelin NCM Bash Event being held at the Corvette Museum.
Enthusiasts lined the roadway around the NCM grounds in anticipation of the parade of a single C8 Corvette as it weaved its way through the crowd. The NCM made a video of the car’s passage and posted it to YouTube yesterday. We thought it shows the car pretty well and gives some perspective to the sounds of both the car and the excitement of the crowd.
While there was limited engine-revving, there was a tasty treat of higher-revs as the car exited the NCM grounds. Of course, come July 18th, we’ll all see more of the car than afforded by the constant camo-riddled sightings currently allow, but for now, we’ll take any tidbits of C8 goodness we can get. Invest a little over a minute and check out the video supplied by the NCM. It’s worth the look!
