There is no arguing the American muscle car possesses an overwhelming power to bring people together. Be it a Chevrolet Chevelle, Plymouth Road Runner, or a Ford Torino, each is an iconic example of the power that was available from Detroit. Here we are in 2020, and since the feeling has never faltered, we all come together to celebrate this passion.
One of those places we can all gather is an event in Las Vegas, Nevada — the Muscle Cars At The Strip event. Held at the Strip (Las Vegas Motor Speedway) in Vegas, you can celebrate with many like-minded enthusiasts March 20 through 22, 2020.
We want to let you know up front, this is an all-makes show. However, do not let that alarm you. If you think your Chevy is better than any Ford or Mopar, bring it to the event and show everyone why! In fact, each brand will have a separate car show area — both judged and Fun Field. What’s more, this is not just a show where you spend the day sitting behind your car — unless you want to. This is a three-day, must-attend extravaganza. If you can’t find something to do at this show, which is in Vegas, you didn’t try.
This year, there will be a special 1970 model-year display. If you have a Chevelle, Nova, Impala, Camaro, or other Chevrolet model made in 1970, come hang out and show the Ford and Mopar guys what real muscle looks like! If you would like to be considered for this premier 1970-specific display space, please email a description of your car with pictures to [email protected]
“This year’s Muscle Cars At The Strip gives all enthusiasts plenty of reasons to attend,” says Phil Painter, the event promoter. “I encourage everyone who has a love of American muscle cars to come out and celebrate these iconic machines. With all three original muscle car manufacturers represented, it’s an incredible experience for both owners of these cars and for fans and those who appreciate them.”
In addition, an ever-expanding manufacturer’s midway, swap meet, autocross competition — featuring both modern and nostalgia muscle cars — and the World’s Ultimate Car Show with all three iconic American brands, ensure this is the car show you do not want to miss this spring.
It wouldn’t be right to let the Ford and Mopar guys outdo the Chevy brand at this show, so make your plans now to help fill the event with everything Bow Tie.
