Step Up Your Nitrous Game With Lingenfelter’s Micro Control Center

If you’ve never run a nitrous system in a car, you’rere missing out. It’s loads of fun as the system hits, and there’s nothing quite like it—more power and torque at the flip of a switch. While it sounds simple, there are rules that one must abide by to have safe operation when injecting N2O. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering’s (LPE) new Nitrous Micro Control Center takes care of those nitrous system safety woes.

The Nitrous Micro Control Center integrates a host of features in a new compact design. An RPM window switch makes sure that the engine is at the proper RPM before the nitrous system will activate. This ensures that the power plant is not under a load and also that the system is not active if you happen to bump the rev limit. Another cool feature that is integrated is the ability to monitor the throttle position sensor. The LPE Nitrous Micro Control Center taps into the TPS signal, thus eliminating the need for a wide-open throttle (WOT) switch. However, if you are running a carbureted application, a mechanical WOT switch can be used. The controller will also accept both rising and falling TPS signals depending on your vehicle. This feature will ensure that your car is at 100-percent throttle allowing the nitrous system to be activated safely.

But Lingenfelter didn’t stop there.

With the Nitrous Micro Control Center, you can also independently control the nitrous and fuel solenoid outputs with a programable ramp. This function allows the driver to custom-tailor the nitrous system activation to their car. For instance, if the vehicle is spinning the tires during activation, you can bring the ramp down, allowing for a lower horsepower setting before ramping back up to 100-percent. It can also control the nitrous and fuel solenoids separately, which allows for fine-tuning of the nitrous and fuel mixture.

The LPE Nitrous Micro Control Center is easy to install and offers 32-Bit microprocessor encased in billet aluminum. The integrated LCD display has a white LED background that is readable in direct sunlight as well as low light conditions. Other features include a trans brake input and retard control output.
