Alright, so we know that an LS engine will fit in a Pontiac Fiero – it’s actually a common swap, but there is a lot of custom work to do as far as engine fitment and plumbing goes.
While we were surfing the LS1Tech forums, we came across this gnarly Pontiac Fiero build, owned by forum member, mrtroyboy, built by forum member, Archie. What caught our eye first was the fact that it doesn’t even look like a Fiero with the modified IMSA body kit – It looks more like a Nissan 300ZX, and that’s due to the front bumper and headlights, as well as the side profile of the car. And for those wondering, the headlights are, in fact, from an Acura NSX-R.
The other aspect of the Fiero that caught our eye was the fact nothing was left untouched – everything was painted with orange metallic paint or chromed and the interior was completely redone. It might be a little much for some, but we love how it turned out, and the fact that it’s the first supercharged LS7 Fiero build – it’s unique, and it’s definitely not everyday that you see an orange, kitted, Fiero with a supercharged LS7.
Archie and his crew did an awesome job on this build. The craftsmanship of everything is on point and we bet mrtroyboy is loving every second with this car. Have fun with it! And for those who want to see the whole build from start to finish, check out the build thread here.
Here is a video of the dyno runs that were made on the most current setup – our guess wasn’t too far off!
