The dust has settled, and the winners are in! TMI Products, the authority on custom car interiors, has announced the final victor and overall champion of its 2024 TRIM Road Tour. The competition, which showcased the nation’s most stunning TMI-equipped rides, has narrowed down its top contenders for the coveted TRIM Awards at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Final Of Five
Steve Swanson, a Murrieta, California native, took home the last of five winning spots with his breathtaking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Swanson’s meticulous attention to detail and eye for design set his Camaro apart. The car’s seamless design, which included Candy Maroon exterior paint that matched its gray leather and charcoal gray-maroon striped seats, astounded the judges.
Tour Champ
But the biggest honor of the day was Jim McKay, owner of Lakeside Speed & Shine from Havasu, Arizona. McKay’s 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, a winner at the tour’s first stop in February, earned him the overall Road Tour Champion title. McKay’s Chevelle features TMI’s Pro Grand seats in its eye-catching interior, which takes inspiration from Ken Johnson’s Boosted Nova. His dedication paid off; he’ll now represent TMI at the SEMA Show, competing against the country’s top builds for the TRIM Awards’ highest honors.
Winner’s Spoils
The stakes are high at SEMA, with class trophy winners and the Best of Show Champion earning exclusive invitations to the 2025 Barrett-Jackson Cup in Scottsdale, AZ. If you think your ride has what it takes, there’s still time to enter the TMI TRIM Awards. Complete the online entry form. But act fast; the competition is fierce, and only the best will make the cut.
With its TRIM Road Tour, TMI Products continues to celebrate the passion and creativity of car enthusiasts nationwide. As the automotive world sets its sights on the SEMA Show, one thing is clear: TMI is where custom interiors meet unparalleled style.
