We all know that guy. The one who finds a five-dollar scratch-off ticket and winds up winning? Well, if you’re not that guy, don’t worry. The National Corvette Museum has something much better than a scratch-off ticket.
One of the major fundraisers for the NCM is their annual Corvette raffles. While they help with the substantial operating costs of such an organization, another great benefit is that the winner gets a brand-new Corvette!
The fact that they offer several different raffles throughout the year means that you can still be a winner, even if your buddy, Mr. Scratch-off finder were to happen to win a Corvette. Of course, you would have to participate in each raffle individually, but the great thing about the NCM raffles is that the buy-in price varies between each raffle. Those who choose to participate can pick their entry point and the odds vary depending on the number of tickets to be sold.
The current list of raffles has between 1,000 and an unlimited number of tickets intended for sale and each one is an opportunity to put a new Corvette in YOUR garage. Your odds of winning are increased by the lower number of competing tickets for any particular raffle, but also the cost of the ticket varies depending on how many are to be sold and the value of the Corvette being raffled. The NCM has also selected several, very different Corvettes to appeal to a larger audience.
All raffle winners enjoy taking delivery of their new Corvette at the Museum as part of the “R8C Museum Delivery” experience. There is also a VIP tour of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant (if available), one-year individual membership to the Museum, hands-on training/instruction by an NCM delivery team member, program decal and a wall plaque as part of the Museum Delivery experience available exclusively through the Museum. Also, all R8C deliveries are viewed world-wide via the Museum’s webcams.
The next raffle, to be held on October 22, 2019, is for a 2019 Arctic White Corvette Coupe. It features a 6.2 Liter / 460 HP engine mated to an 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. Also included are selective Mag-Ride control and a multi-mode exhaust. It is a 2LT coupe with Red interior and its new owner will enjoy all the comfort and convenience of the Bose 10-speaker stereo system and Chevrolet’s infotainment system. Only 1000 tickets will be sold at $150 each.
For those who wish for a little more “go” with their show, the NCM will soon be picking the winning ticket for this 2019 Shadow Gray Corvette ZR1 Coupe. It goes without saying that someone is REALLY going to enjoy each of those 755 horses, and with that ZTK Track Performance Package, this Z-car will be capable on-track as well as the highway. A performance exhaust, Carbon Flash wheels, and Competition Sport Seats make this car easy on the eyes and the ears.
While each ticket will run you $300, you can see how great a value this is, should you be chosen as the winner. As of this writing, there are just over 1100 tickets still available.
All Corvettes Are Red (At least THIS one is!)
If you subscribe to the “All Corvettes Are Red” mantra and would rather get three chances for the cost of one ZR1 ticket, then this Torch Red 2019 Corvette is for you!
This self-shifting Stingray has the same 6.2-liter engine as the Arctic White one and is a 2LT package with Z51-style, split-spoke wheels. Additional goodies include a head-up display, heated and ventilated seats, a Bose 10-speaker audio system and the Performance Data and Video Recorder system. There is also a multi-mode exhaust to bring a little sass to all that style.
If you’re one of the really patient ones who can wait for a swingin’ deal, then this Black, 2020 Mid-engine Corvette raffle has your name written all over it. If you purchase a $20 raffle ticket, you could find yourself owning the hottest car on the planet right now, if you hold the winning number on April 25, 2020.
This Z51-equipped beauty has a 6.2-liter engine now pushing 495 horsepower through a dual-clutch 8-speed transmission. The Z51 package brings larger brake rotors, extra cooling, rear spoiler, splitter, and performance exhaust. Mag-Ride is also installed and those Carbon Flash-painted wheels cover bright red calipers. New for 2020 is the front lift adjustable height suspension with memory package, as well as the HD front and rear vision cameras.
The Fine Print
It’s getting harder and harder to give stuff away, and there are a few rules to keep things fair. The National Corvette Museum is licensed by the Kentucky Department of Charitable Gaming under license number ORG0000854. As such, the NCM can offer purchasers located in Kentucky the ability to purchase raffle tickets on their personal computers, mobile devices and on-site at the National Corvette Museum and NCM Motorsports Park. The purchaser must be at least 18 years of age and be physically located in Kentucky at the time of purchase. You do not have to be a resident of Kentucky to participate.
If you are not located in Kentucky, you may download an Order Form and send it to the NCM for processing.
Good luck! We hope both you, and your ticket-pickin’ buddy win a new Corvette from the NCM!
