Competition has been fierce and the field of participants has been constantly increasing since automotive interior innovator, TMI Products, began extolling some of the best automotive interiors with its TRIM Awards. TMI’s TRIM Award competition went on the road in 2023, seeking the best interiors at several must-see events throughout the country. The 2024 TRIM Road Tour continues the search, with added stops along the way.
The TRIM Road Tour is a multi-stop competition, leading up to the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, designed to spotlight the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation. The first stop of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour has just concluded at the Grand National Roadster Show, held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. The win went to Jim McKay of Lakeside Speed & Shine with his 1970 Chevelle. Jim, and his incredible Chevelle, will go on to compete with four other winners, chosen during the 2024 TRIM Road Tour, vying for this year’s TRIM Road Tour championship.
The winner of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour championship will earn a trip to the SEMA Show (November 5-8, 2024) that will include a Top 20 finalist spot at the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at SEMA, a pass to the SEMA Show, a Sponsor Vehicle parking spot at the SEMA Show, and a seven-night hotel stay during the event.
There’s a long way to go before the big SEMA finale, and the TMI Products judges will agonize over all the awesome builds throughout the tour to ensure Jim and his ’70 Chevelle have plenty of competition. Four stops remain on the 2024 TRIM Road Tour and it’s not too late to enter your vehicle for consideration at one of the upcoming shows, which include:
– Good Guys Del Mar, CA, April 5-7, 2024
– C10 Nationals, Fort Worth, TX May 10-11, 2024
– Good Guys, Columbus, OH, July 12-14, 2024
– TMI Cars & Clearance, Corona, CA- August 17, 2024
