The C6 Z06 Corvette is a car just about any enthusiast can adore. Awesome styling, superb handling, and a 505 HP power plant to die for. However, tuners have been tweaking the LS7-powered Z since its inception over six years ago, and like any other Gen III/IV motor, the sky’s the limit for performance potential.
We caught a glimpse of this example through a video hosted on Vimeo courtesy of KSP Productions. Everything about this Corvette screams perfection; flawless paint, excellent attention to detail, and that V8 roar capable of waking the dead. This particular Zee-Oh-Six puts down a healthy 598.2RWHP (let’s just call it 600) to the wheels.
We’re unaware of the Corvette’s exact mods, but given the very audible exhaust note, it’s quite obvious it has the obligatory header and exhaust upgrade. A decent selection of engine mods to produce such a high level of horsepower had to be made as well. Given that we didn’t hear the whine of a supercharger or the whistle of a turbo, we can only assume that’s naturally aspirated.
If we do find out more about this car at a later date, we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out the attached video and admire the sheer awesomeness of an incredibly impressive C6.
