The 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray is a machine so sharp, it responds to any move you make in an instant.
Chevrolet really hit the nail on the head with this commercial by keeping it short and sweet, but straight to the point. One of the messages that they are relaying to us with this ad is that the new Corvette Stingray is simply a monster – it’s not just any car that you hop into and drive, but a “machine that lives and breathes.” We strongly feel that the main message of the commercial, however, is refinement, and how the Corvette has come such a long way to be the iconic sports car that it is today.
And if you’re wondering who’s mysterious, spine-chilling voice is narrating this commercial, it is none other than the mysterious and spine-chilling John Cusack, who actually does a great job of matching his tone of voice with the theme of the commercial. We’ve also scratched our heads a little bit, trying to figure out if the track that this commercial was filmed on is, in fact, Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch or not. If you happen to know, drop us a line in the comments below!
We love Chevrolet’s take on the Corvette Stingray through this commercial – it shows the viewer that there is a lot more to designing a successful car than meets the eye. The Stingray is in fact a machine that needs to be awoken, unleashed, and believed in. The Stingray is your machine. Kudos to Chevy for putting together a subtle, suspenseful, and interest-peaking commercial to showcase the refinement of America’s supercar.
