Forgeline Motorsports has been given the honor of putting the finishing touch on the 2013 Craftsman Restoration Rollout. The Restoration Rollout is build sponsored by Craftsman tools where a rusted 1969 Chevy C10 Truck was transformed into a hot rod by the Roadster shop.

When the C10 arrived at the Roadster Shop, it was nothing more than a rusted farm truck. RS immediately tore it down, fabricated a custom frame, installed a performance suspension, a new interior, a Kicker sound system and a Don Hardy LS3 engine. The faded body was sandblasted and given a two tone black & white paint job. After countless late nights, the C10 was finally complete save for one part: the wheels.

 The Roadster Shop called up the guys at Forgeline Motorsports for a clean set of four. After browsing through several options, RS went with the Forgeline CF3C 5 spoke wheel. This forged aluminum wheel was chosen for it’s light weight and large design. The large diameter gives the wheels a bit of European design but at the same time the 5 spokes retain the American muscle image.

The wheels are wrapped in Pirelli 315 tires which will help the truck grip at high speeds on a road course. Thanks to Forgeline the C10 is a completed pro touring machine. All those late nights paid off as the truck is on it’s way to Barrett-Jackson where one lucky winner will be able to take this dream ride home.
