As one of the aftermarket’s longest-serving companies, the folks at Moroso Performance have been building a colossal catalog of speed parts ever since racer Dick Moroso founded the company in 1968. They’re led today by Rick Moroso and have a unique perspective on building speed parts.

In this video, we get a chance to take a virtual walk through the entire Moroso facility, from where parts are conceived using 3D modeling software to the factory where they are built by a team of craftsmen and women.

The factory offers a wide range of CNC machinery that helps the company build everything from fabricated oil pans to custom valve covers and more.

Products are leak-tested, fit-checked, and optimized prior to final packaging. The transmission pans are leak-checked using custom in-house-built pressurized fixtures, oil pan rails are checked for flatness and sealing ability. They even build bolt-in and weld-in roll bars, cages, and other chassis-related products through their Competition Engineering division.

From dry sump pumps and oil pans to water pumps and spark plug wires, Moroso has a handle on it. They even make use of an in-house engine dynamometer to assist in product development.

It’s an interesting look behind the scenes at one of the industry’s mainstays, and well worth the watch. Check it out!
