Video: Hurst Keeps The Musclecar Alive New Alloy Wheels, Spring Kits

When the name Hurst is brought up, a few things come to mind: Hemi Under Glass, Hurst Camaros, Challengers, and Oldsmobiles, and the lovely Linda Vaughn, sometimes called the “First Lady of Motorsports”. If you’ve been a part of the whole hot rod and musclecar scene, you’ve probably seen some of these in person. Hurst has three more beauties they would like you to feast your eyes on: Stunner, Dazzler, and Shaker.

Though they may not have the same curves that Miss Hurst laid on us in the 1960s and 1970s, these three new wheels from Hurst are bringing a classic look to modern musclecars with new styles reminiscent of the iconic brand. Each new high-strength, lightweight alloy wheel is made with perfection in mind, hand inspected and declared to be “Blemish Free” when they leave the facility.

The Stunner is a available as a 20-inch wheel with a machined mirror face and anthracite accents, with sizes and bolt patterns for many modern musclecars, and is a Hurst Performance Vehicle reproduction verson. The Dazzler is available in 15-inch, 17-inch, and 19-inch wheel diameters with a black or gold finish, and takes the classic five-spoke look to modern musclecars. The Shaker is a modern Hurst wheel in a 20-inch diameter, with black and gold inserts that can easily be removed and painted to match the body color of your car. Or shake things up and swap out the black and gold on weekends and let your friends think you have two sets of wheels.

In addition to the new wheels, Hurst is also offering Stage One coil spring kits for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT, 2010-2014 Camaro SS, and the 2011-2014 Challenger R/T to help enhance the ride and improve the road-holding capabilities of each of these musclecars. The springs are designted to lower the car approximately one inch, and help improve the center of gravity and handling response for each car.
