Video: QA1 Shows Us Their Latest Offerings In Shocks And Struts

With drag racers and pro-touring enthusiasts looking to improve both traction and handling, everyone knows that you simply can’t rely on your tired, old shocks to provide you with effective amounts of either. Luckily, companies like QA1 specialize in everything you need in regards to your suspension for your current project or daily driver. They are direct bolt-in components, all of which are completely rebuildable.

They currently offer their shocks and struts in multiple varieties for a large number of vehicles, among their most popular is the Stocker Star Series. For the daily driver that sees little to no action other than to the grocery store, their non-adjustable shock would be the way to go. It offers the most comfortable ride possible, while helping improve overall handling and steering control.

The next step up would be the single-adjustable model that’s perfect for the casual enthusiast who occasionally sees some track action, but not a whole lot. It offers all of the features of the standard shock, but provides the driver with the option of adjustability.

Wanting improved traction from your drag car? Then the Stocker Star R-Series is right up your alley. It allows you to fine-tune for the ultimate in launch control for the best 60-ft. time possible. For the autocross and pro-touring set, is the double-adjuastable model and gives you the most adjustments possible. This the basically the all-rounder that provides you with the ultimate in adjustability, while having the ability to be dialed back for road use.

QA1 just sent us over this video with Drag & Street guru/ Customer Service Manager, Dave Kass, and he gives us a walk through of their Stocker Star Series lineup of shocks.

At this point, if you’ve read this article and watched the video in its entirety, and still have questions, take it from us, we just landed a full QA1 Suspension upgrade package for one of our in-house Power Automedia test cars. The quality of their components impressed us, and we’re looking forward to putting this kit on our car.
