Today, we realized that we really need this sixth-generation Camaro Shooting Brake in our lives, and won’t be able to press on with life without it. Well, we’ll be able to, but it will be hard.
X-Tomi Design posted this rendering of a sixth-generation Camaro as a shooting brake on their Facebook page, and we think it looks damn good, mainly because we’re a sucker for wagons. Remember the C7 Aerowagon rendering that Callaway blasted the interwebs with? Yeah, that one. Call us crazy, but the design just works, especially for sleek two door vehicles that already look great. Others who aren’t really wagon fans might not appreciate this rendering that much, but that’s okay because this world wouldn’t be what it is today without opinions.
Looking through X-Tomi Design’s Facebook page, we also came across this rendering of a sixth-generation Camaro Sedan. It’s exactly what a 2016 Camaro would look like if two extra doors were slapped on, and it actually looks pretty good. Chevrolet’s SS sedan is beautiful, but, just out of speculation, we think that this Camaro sedan would appeal to consumers more because the main complaints Chevrolet is getting with the SS is that it’s too pricey and the look is rather boring.
You know how we feel about the SS, but a Camaro sedan might just make sense, especially with the larger, RWD Zeta platform, provided GM keeps it in production. If not, then it would be a good candidate for the CTS’ Alpha platform.
Overall, as far as both renderings go, they look great. And while only one of them really makes sense, we think GM should produce both for the hell of it. you have our vote, X-Tomi Design!
