We managed to stumble across a rather interesting find on eBay today with this 1990 Corvette ZR1. We have seen a few low milage cars surface, but this one almost certainly takes the cake.
As you too may have done, we definitely had to reread the listed milage on the auction page, as we just couldn’t believe somebody only put 127 miles on a 1990 ZR1. It is no secret that Corvettes are not sold at every Chevrolet dealership. Some folks have to make a small road trip in order to reach their closest authorized Corvette Dealer, meaning this poor ZR1 may have only made the trip home and sat inside for the last 25 years.
For those that are still skeptical of the milage on this C4 ZR1, as were some of the guys here at Corvette Online, a simple perusing of the picture gallery should alleviate any concerns. Despite the paint and typical areas being completely perfect, there isn’t any visible wear to the seat, dash buttons, or other parts of the car that do wear even with the most careful of owners.
The car now resides at Paramount Classic Cars in Hickory, North Carolina who put the listing on eBay. At the time this was written, the price was at $31,100 but the reserve has yet to be met. If you think you have found your next piece of garage art, you had better act fast as the listing expires in about 1.5 days. According to the ad, if you would like to know the reserve before you place a bid of your own, you can simply contact the dealer.
If you are bidding, we wish you the best of luck!
