The MSD Atomic EFI Wins Best New Product Category

Every year at shows like SEMA, PRI, and others, we get to have a sneak peek at what the biggest names in the industry are releasing to the automotive aftermarket. The latest superchargers, exhaust systems, suspension kits, and the like are always getting the most attention.

Well one company who has been getting a lot of press for making something that’s not one of those things, is MSD. We’ve had the privilege of getting a look at their new Atomic EFI Kit last Fall, and we came away very impressed. So did the judges at the 15th Annual Trade Show, apparently, as MSD walked away with the Best New Product Award in the Engine Components Category.

MSD’s Atomic EFI LS Kit Wins Best New Product in the Engine Components Category

The 15th annual Hot Rod & Restoration Trade Show takes place this last weekend, March 14-16, and it is dedicated to exhibiting new products and technologies that impact Hot Rods, Street Rods, Classic Cars, Engine Builders, Performance and Restoration. The Trade Show only gives out seven Innovation Awards, one for each different category. MSD’s Atomic EFI LS System earned the accolade of Best New Product in the Engine Components Category. “The response to our new Atomic LS has been nothing short of spectacular.”

The Atomic LS platform incorporates the electronics into the fuel rails and has no bulky ECU or wiring harness to mount, which means no mess of wires to route around the engine. This Wired-Less design mounts simply and cleanly on the engine, greatly improving the overall aesthetics of the vehicle. MSD will continue to design innovative products that improve the performance of vehicles and bring to market only the best for its consumers. The Atomic EFI LS Kit is available for LS2/LS3 engines (PN 2950) and LS7 engines (PN 2960). Stay tuned for more Atomic LS components and kits that will be coming throughout 2013.
