We’re sure that at one time you have bought an exhaust system that you were not happy with – rather it be power or sound. The ideal move to make would be to get rid of the exhaust and try another option. Well, BBK Performance has read our minds and spared our wallets with their most recent Vari-Tune muffler and axle back systems.

With just the turn of a wrench, BBK’s patented Vari-Tune technology utilizes an internal Adjustable Power Valve that allows you to change from a mellow three chamber exhaust sound, to a rich, throaty single chamber exhaust note. Here’s how the Adjustable Power Valve works – when in the closed position the valve blocks the exhaust flow, forcing it through all three chambers of the muffler for a toned down, mellow sound – when in the open position, the valve un-restricts the exhaust flow, allowing it to take a path of least resistance and act as more of a straight-through muffler for a richer and noticably louder exhaust note.

The Vari-Tune mufflers are available in a stainless steel or aluminized casing and are sold individually. BBK recently announced that axle back systms are available for 2005-2014 Mustangs as well as 2010-2014 Camaro SS, 2003-2012 Charger V8, and 2008-2013 Challenger V8.
