As most of you already know, SEMA is a trade-only event, open only to industry professionals. The only time the public can see all these jaw-dropping builds in person is at the official SEMA Show after party– SEMA Ignited. Hundreds of cars from the four-day long SEMA show roll out of the Las Vegas Convention Center and gather for a night full of drifting, insane builds, food, celebrities, and just plain fun.
From hot rods and low-riders to full blown racecars and off-road machines, Ignited has it all. This year was the third official afterparty since it became an annual tradition and, after three years, the show has had an amazing response. This year, it drew over 800 vehicles and, last year, drew over 16,000 attendees.
“SEMA Ignited is an ultimate way to end the crazy week that is SEMA.” said Mike Robledo of SEMA. “This is where the consumer gets to touch the cars. All the cars that have been inside the show all week come here for the public to enjoy. There’s a giant cruise route, there’s drift demos from Formula Drift– it really is a well rounded event. But, the best thing is that you get to see these cars moving. You’ve been seeing them sitting parked for a whole week, now we get to see them drive and hear them.”
Ignited was free to those already with a SEMA badge and just $20 for the public– a price well worth being able to feast your eyes on some of the most amazing builds of the year.
