It has become almost cliché to say that life changed on 9/11, and yet it still rings true. Many innocent, brave people died on that day, and while life has carried on, things certainly are different. Even nine years later, people still find themselves forever touched by those tragic events. They also still find ways to become inspired by the heroism of that day, and the everyday heroism of the men and women who serve our country’s military.
With that in mind, Camaro5 brought us pictures of the American Pride Camaro. This one-of-a-kind tribute car pays homage to American heroes past and present.
The Camaro is quite literally covered, front to back, in high quality renditions of many famous battles and heroes. Adorning the car are such iconic scenes as the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima, depictions of the American Civil War, and of Theodore Roosevelt’s charge up San Juan Hill. Theodore Roosevelt himself is on the car, as is Abraham Lincoln.
There are dozens of eagles on the car, some hidden within the images themselves. It is a testament to the amount of time and dedication that went into this car by Mountain Muscle Cars of Cosby, Tennessee.
The pictures from Camaro5 member SSMike show off the quality of this car. There is a noble purpose for this vehicle as well. It will tour the country at various Camaro events, and will eventually make its way to the Barrett-Jackson auction. There it will be sold, with the proceeds going to a military charity. It is an American work of art, through and through. Is there anything more American than muscle cars and the military?
