In another segment of “Camaros Parked on People’s Lawns” comes this wickedly cool conversion ’71 Chevrolet Camaro RS. We simply love the early second-generation Camaros, well, the Rally Sport models with the poly urethane grille ring and split-bumpers. You might see a lot of so-called “split-bumpers” out there, guys, but unless they have this sharp lip, they’re just a plain old single-bumper Camaro pretending to be otherwise.

We found this cool-in-yellow ’71 over on Z28.com where newcomer “RT66,” a long-time car builder, finalized this second-gen and posted some pics. Powered by a transplanted LS2 motor, the fresh small block is backed by an automatic transmission and the factory 10-bolt with 3:55 gears spinning a posi.
Suspension is comprised of all new Heidts equipment. Its sits nicely on a set of Boze wheels and low profile tires. RT66 concluded, “Flowmasters top off this ride with a great muscle car rumble.”
