Social media is such a large part of our lives today, and not just our regular, everyday lives. Social media also plays a large role in marketing. Manufacturers in the automotive and racing worlds have learned it presents an easy way to inform the public about their products, sponsored racers, and company news.
Well, if you consider yourself a social media rockstar, Racepak wants you to prove it. You can get all the details here, but you must race at least twice a month throughout the spring, summer, and fall racing season, possess a Windows-based PC with an operating system of XP or newer, active social media accounts with a history of up-to-date and non-offensive postings, a digital camera and a video camera capable of getting your data logging exploits out in cyber land, and adherence to scheduled post-race reports, data, and images.
So, if you’re not afraid of being in front of the camera; and passionate about your form of motorsports, go to Racepak’s website and download the application. Racepak will choose five racers for this contest, who are willing to submit race results — whether good or bad — and post photos and videos to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter during race weekends.
The deadline is March 31st, and if you win, you have the choice between a Racepak Sportsman and IQ3 Data Logger for your racing program. It doesn’t matter if you race NHRA, IHRA, an Outlaw Drag Radial racer, or a weekend bracket racer…if you’re social media savvy, Racepak is waiting for your submission.
