Christmas is coming and that means dubious amounts of shopping for some. Unfortunately, that much shopping can mean a lot of stress, especially if you have a car guy on your list that you just don’t know what to get. Well, we’ve come up with a solution. Thanks to PC World, we’ve been introduced to a world of game console modifications and we must say, the “Transformers Xbox 360” built in a remote-controlled Bumblebee Camaro might be just what the car guy in your life needs.
The Xbox 360 Camaro casemod has a pretty impressive set up. In true Transformer fashion, it starts with a fully functional 250gb slim Xbox 360 stuffed inside a Bumblebee remote-controlled Camaro that can be turned on by pressing Bumblebee’s gas cap. In order to load games into the console, all you have to do is press the Chevy bowtie on the back of the car and the disc tray pops out from the front grill. Under the rear bumper you’ll find the HDMI and USB ports to connect the game console to your TV, or you can just use the 8-inch LCD screen that makes up the rear window of the Camaro. To top it all off, the Transformers Xbox 360 even comes with custom Transformers controllers. Did we mention it’s still a drivable RC car as well?
This particular game console was made by Mark Bongo of Major League Mods, a company specializing in game console modifications. The Transformers Xbox 360 isn’t the only one the company has created, either. Major League Mods is also behind the New York Comic-Con contest winning R2-D2 Xbox 360 and a Star Wars Millennium Falcon Xbox 360.
The Transformers Xbox 360 may be a little over the top, but we doubt your gearhead comrade has anything like it. Check out more of Major League Mods’ unique game consoles here.
