We’ve seen some pretty sick time-lapse videos lately, from West Coast Customs’ look at SEMA to Formula DRIFT Irwindale, but nothing has piqued our attention like this time-lapse video we found on Camaro5 of ADM Performance building their twin-turbocharged 2010 Camaro. Oh, the things that can be accomplished in just 2 minutes! Check out the “Quick Build” video above.
ADM Performance specializes in building sick machines of the Chevy LSX nature. One of their latest projects was taking a fifth-generation Camaro that they had built for the first Camaro5 Fest and transitioning it into a new beast for the upcoming third annual event.
The list of performance components and modifications done to this car is extensive. The Camaro features a Lingenfelter prepared LSX 427 CI V8 with ported Lingenfelter LSX LS7 Turbo Heads and LS7 Intake, JE pistons, Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors and a Callies crankshaft. Twin Garrett GT35R turbochargers were added with Tial wastegates, blow off valves and stainless exhaust valves, as well as ADM Spec Bell Engineering Liquid Intercoolers and Heat Exchanger. The twin-turbo engine setup also features a Mezier Intercooler pump, along with an ADM Boost Controller and Gauge, Spec Ron Davis Radiator and modified Magnaflow exhaust.
The engine was mated to a RPM Level 6 4L80E transmission with a transbrake, Powertrain Control Solutions transmission controller, torque converter from Precision Converters and an ADM 4-Speed Shifter. The setup was then linked to a Lingenfelter 9.5-inch differential and axle with a Driveshaft Shop 4-inch aluminum driveshaft.
Moving on to the suspension, ADM Performance used a full Pfadt Racing setup with sport springs, swaybars, solid subframe and motor mounts, and bushings. The Camaro was fit with and Extreme Innovations roll cage and sits atop Nitto NT05 tires.
Obviously this build took a bit longer than the 2 minutes you see here. According to their Camaro5.com forum posts, ADM Performance has spent more hours on this build than all of the other Camaros in their shop combined.
We’re impressed that the company was able to cram so much of this build in one time-lapse video. Even more impressive, however, is the car and we look forward to seeing it at the next Camaro5 Fest.
