Be very careful of what you wish for! My little buddy Tom, the FNG, found it really funny to blog about my shoes. I took that to mean that he was an expert on shoes. Only makes sense to me.

What I couldn’t figure out is why Tom, the shoe expert, would take a pot shot at my new shoes. I mean……there is a pecking order in the garage, and the shoe expert is at the bottom of the pecking order. Makes no sense to me to get out of the natural order of things and peck up the lineal order. It’s like asking to be messed with.

Revenge shall be mine.

So you want to be a shoe expert? Clean the car’s shoes and be glad that we don’t have horses.

So I figured that Tom, the shoe expert and FNG, needed some further education on shoes. All kinds of shoes. Car shoes for instance. Realistically, tires are simply shoes for cars. As such, they should be taken care of as well as your favorite set of runners.

Hopefully Tom will absorb this lesson in pecking order. Later, when’s he’s done cleaning all the tires in the shop, I’ll tell him the story about the emperor’s new clothes. My version will be about the emperor’s new shoes and how it’s not nice to tell him how crappy they look. God…..it’s nice to be the King.
