Corsa Performance to Sponsor This Year’s Cadillac Challenge

For those of you who have been paying attention, for the last couple of years, the Cadillac Challenge Series has brought together a bunch of CTS-V owners looking to compete against one another to see who has the baddest road racing V around. Sounds like a whole lot of fun to us!

Being as how the Cadillac CTS-V is a high-class, luxury car, there are only a few exhaust system manufacturers around that actually produce exhausts for these awesome cars. That’s a huge part of the reason why CORSA Performance, a leader in the high performance exhaust industry, has sponsored this year’s Cadillac Challenge.

As a result, the C1 – Showroom Race Class has been renamed the CORSA Performance Exhaust Class. According to CORSA’s press release, “As part of the exclusive sponsorship, the highest point earner at the end of every three races will be awarded a complimentary CORSA Performance Exhausts CTS-V system. CORSA will also present a Pro-Series trophy at the end of the Cadillac Challenge 12-race season to the newly named CORSA Performance Exhausts Class champion.”

“We are proud and looking forward to our participation in the Cadillac Challenge race series, as well as an exciting season on the track,” says Craig Kohrs, Vice President and General Manager, CORSA Performance Exhausts. “This partnership is a great way to celebrate our leadership in the premium exhaust market and promote our patented Reflective Sound Cancellation RSC technology to Cadillac owners.”

Not only do CORSA’s CTS-V exhaust systems feature a high-quality 304L stainless steel design and their RSC technology, but they also weigh 19 pounds less and flow up to 21% more than the OEM unit.

In fact, we have installed one of their kits on a former 2011 CTS-V project car in the past, and have just installed a CORSA exhaust on our current in-house 2006 CTS-V – so we have first-hand knowledge about how great these kits truly are. Keep an eye out for the tech article on that install, and in the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on any updates regarding this year’s Cadillac Challenge!
